Add Texture to Dingblanks

Frist to start off you will need to save the Image Center on your fkey. It will make imaging a lot easier.

... To Get Started ...

1. First you need to find a dingblank you would like to composite with a texture. You can find one here. Valentine's Day Dingblanks

2. Here is one I chose. Heart

3. Next you will need to find a texture you want to composite in the heart. For example the texture can be animated, a line, a plain back or a glass back.

4. You also need to copy the url of the texture to use later. I chose a gold glass back. Gold Glass Back

... Now To Composite In The Dingblank ...

1. Click on the image you want to use for the Dingblank. Heart

2. Click on the fkey for the Image Center, then click on Image Magick to go to one of the image centers. Note: All of the Image Magick's will automatically take the url of the dingblank there to manipulate from the Image Center only.

3. Now click on Composite at the top of the page.

4. Paste in the url of the texture you want to place in the dingblank. (erase http:// first) Then press cmd+v to paste the url of the texture you copied.

5. Make Compose setting at IN.

6. Check off the box to tile across and down the image canvas.

7. Then scroll up and click on composite.

8. It will now put the texture in the Dingbat.

9. This is what you made. Gold Heart

( Next you can either resize it, output it or add another image or text to enhance the Dingblank even more. Here is a tute to add text to an image. Annotate Tutorial.

... Add an Image to the Textured Dingblank ...

1. Now that you added the texture to the dingblank you can add an image to enhance it... :o).

2. I chose this image of red roses to add to it. Rose Bunch

3. Click on Composite at the top of the page.

4. Next paste or type in the url of the image you want to add.

5. Keep Gravity at Center. (this works best for me)

6. Location I made at +40+40 but these dimensions you will have to play with to get the image placed just right. The Left side is to move the image east or west and the Right side is to move it north or south.

7. Rotate - I made it +15 just to angle it a bit to fit on the heart.

8. Click on Compose and choose Over.

9. Make sure you uncheck the tile across and down the image canvas box.

10. Now click on Composite.

11. This is what was made. Heart Rose

12. Next you can either add text, resize it smaller or output it.

13. Here is a sample with text. Heart Rose w/Text (transparent) or Heart Rose w/Text (white back)

14. NOTE:..If you are finished with your dingblank image. Before you output it you should trim off the extra transparency by going to Transform, click on Trim and then Transform below that. Now it is ready to Output.

... Now To Output The Dingblank ...

1. Click on Output.

2. Click on Format then GIF.

3. Click on Single file button.

4. Sroll down to Quality and make that 35 instead of 75 to reduce kb size.

5. Then Output.

6. Next click on your customised dingblank shown to transload to your files.
